This season, many trends expressed a longing for a bygone era of life and its tranquility. The colors presented were a reaction to the understated elegance that relies on beige and gray. There was also a visual similarity among individuals; everyone dressed with a clean aesthetic. If you noticed, people on social media were discussing how everyone was wearing the same style. Therefore, this year’s color trends aimed to create visual individuality. Colors stood out, such as blue and red, while others acted as a bridge, like ivory white, allowing for greater control over the overall visual experience.
In this post, I’ll share with you the most prominent colors for Spring/Summer 2026 that appeared during fashion weeks, from Dior and Miu Miu.
One of the trendiest colors this year is purple in various shades:
1- Burnished Lilac
2- Eggplant
3- Deep Violet
4- Violet
Shades of green:
1- Sage Green (matte green)
2- Lime Green (a slightly bright green)
3- Mint Green (a slightly lighter green)
Shades of blue and colors inspired by the sea:
1- Classic Klein Blue
2- Cobalt blue
3- Turquoise
4- Light turquoise green
5- Cyan
6- Deep Blue
7- Pearl White (soft white).
8- Light peach Coral Tint
Shades of yellow:
1- Mustard Yellow
2- Butter Yellow
3- Marigold
Two shades of red:
1- Cherry red
2- Tomato red
In addition, we have:
1- Light pink Ballet Slipper Pink
2- Chocolate Brown
Our latest trend, and in my opinion the best, is combining colors that don’t usually mix, but of course within the color wheel—meaning they should be contrasting.
The trend is called Clashing Colors.
